Mei Lu, CEO

Combining her outstanding people skills, passion for technologies and business, and her commitment to solving environmental issues, Mei founded Lotus Partners, a placement service dedicated to building out green economy and helping organizations with their mission-critical, strategic talent needs.

Mei started her career as a Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager at various technology companies and research institute, including MicroStrategy, MIT, Manugistics (now JDA Software Group), SoftMed (now 3M Health Information Systems), and QPass (now Amdocs).

With her strong technical underpinning and excellent inter-personal skills, she transitioned into a Business Development role at a boutique recruiting firm, EQQUS, working with both top-tier VC-funded startups and publicly-traded technology firms.

Mei has extensive experience successfully recruiting and placing VP, Director, Manager, and Engineer roles for her clients in Development, Product Management, Sales, and Support organizations.

Mei received her MS in Computer Science from University of Pennsylvania and her MS in Civil Engineering (w/ focus on Computer-Aided Engineering) from Carnegie Mellon University.
